I think it is better to wait
I don't know how I found this site. I was looking up a truck and I got put here somehow. Out of curiosity I browsed a bit and I just had to put my two cents in from a guys point of view. I think it is better for you gals to wait. Find a guy who would want to be with you and whats in your head and heart. Not your crotch. I know it is hard to do with peer pressure and the way our culture is today. It sickens me quite a bit. Good advice would be to wait till your engaged or married.
You might be saying to yourselves if your reading this "Huh, this guy just wants fresh meat!". Not true ladies. I admit I lost my virginity at 13 to someone I was with on an off for 7 years. I regret it everyday. I also had 2 other relationships that didn't go far. I regret them too. I notice the more people have sex the more they don't see the importance of it or it as being sacred. They find it as simple act which leads to cheating and adultery. I am not a religious person. I guess you can say I am agnostic. However, I have always looked as sex as something important between two people and only between two people. None of this one night stand and premisquous sex crap that our culture is trying to brainwash us with to say its ok. I never started a relationship without intent of having it to go very far. I hope you ladies try the same. Don't give in too quickly.

As what I am allowed to share with what I am limited in learning...
There is religion (certificates, documents, images, statues etc... created by human hands) and then there are the laws issued to human beings WITHIN the physical body, laws we cannot escape and from disobediance, we suffer the consequences already issued from "within" by the REAL Creator.
Today's word "marriage" is part of our modern vocabulary what does it mean?, when the two become "married" is when the two become "joined" through the penetration. That is the marriage!

I agree with you old fashioned. I did wait until I was married and my husband waited along with me. We dated 5 years before we got married. I went thru my college years being mocked by my virginity but now I do not regret it at all. Nobody has the intimacy that my husband and I share now as a newly wed couple. Also, girls condoms are not effective aganist pregancy and birth contol is only 99% effective if taken properly and that means follwing the directions by the t.

I agree
I agree with you guys, I think wating for sex til marriage is better cause if poeple will go around and have sex with any person they date ( no offend! just a point of view ^_^) then why would they get married, they might move in togther, have as much sex as they want and might even have children. So I think marriage is about first time of both parteners, and then comparing the other partner sexual ability with previous exbf/exgf wont happen, and they will enjoy their sexual life since they dont have any previous sexual reference to compare with.

Me and my bf are both virgins and we are planing to get maried as soon as we get out of college, and I think that was the case with you , right? so since you didnt have sex with him before you married him, did you guys fool around togther? cause honestly me and my bf we fool around sometimes but both of us are happy that we wont loose our virginity before we actually get married!

Totally agree
Hi All,
dunno if i'm considered abnormal, but I shall say this, I'm 29 years old male, and I'm still virgin, the things that is discussed here is correct, I just feel that doing it outside marriage is just self cheating, and its temporary love. I think sex before marriage isnt a solution, its a problem. it can create a mistrust even when a person gets married later, cause the other partner would never carry any confidence. I always raise this question to the people that make fun of this: if u had sex before marriage with x and u didnt wait then u might have the desire to do it with y even after marriage, it will be a very easy going matter.
the person will live in a state of comparison and he cant help it anyway.
The divorce rate are going up every year and this is an important factor to count.
yet again when my friend make harsh jokes about my virginity I find it very easy for me to forgive them for the fact that they cant see or think what I'm thinking of, but after explaining most would appreciate it.
:)

nodding my head in agreement
I'm a 22 year old male virgin. I feel that both parties in a marriage should be celibate before marriage. It leads to a much closer relationship at marriage. If I remember the statistics right only 70% of married people stay together whereas I think it was 95% of couples that were married as virgins stayed together. I don't even need to mention the religion reason or dangers of premarital sex.
