Better retun than the USA
My first investment overseas was in Saint Petersburg Russia in 1999. I bought a small Communal flat. About 40 square meters(400 scare feet). Everyone in Russia told me I was crazy and I did not know what I was doing, including my wife. But as we all know location location location. The flat was only one block from the Winter Palace on the main street Nevsky Prospect, this would equivalent to Time Square in new York. Paid $15,000 and got all money back in one year from rent. No property tax. So holding cost was next to none. In the end sold the property for about $300,000. Plus earned rent doing the whole time. This so far has been my best investment to date. Over 2000% return

That sounds like a good decision you made
Have you been successful in areas that are closer to the US?

Return on invesmnets
Hello, we have seen returns over a 7 year period of 300% to 500% in Colombia also, about 300% in peru over the last 5 years.
Costa Rica prices are way down, so good values there right now.
Number one rule, buy when every one is selling and sell when every one is buying.
